I was sent a gift pack including the new Fiber One 90-calorie brownies. I love my chocolate and make brownies fairly often but then I end up eating way more than I should! These aren’t the same as homemade obviously but they don’t give you the guilt that eating half a pan of brownies either! I really liked them and ate them for breakfast with coffee several days. Who doesn’t like to start off the day with chocolate? They are handy to have around for a snack and could be a great way to satisfy your chocolate craving while watching your calories.
Rather than focusing on the foods you can´t have – Fiber One® is giving you the opportunity to eat what you love without the guilt. New Fiber One® 90 Calorie Brownies are moist, chewy treats that let you have what you crave while helping you stay on track with your balanced diet. With 5 grams of fiber, which is 20 percent of the Daily Value of Fiber, the new brownies are a smart snacking choice.
With new Fiber One 90-Calorie Brownies, you can have an unbelievably satisfying and wholesome treat in two delicious flavors. The Chocolate Fudge brownies are made with chocolate-flavored chips and topped with a dark chocolate-flavored drizzle, and the Chocolate Peanut Butter variety contains peanut butter chips topped with a peanut butter drizzle.
You can win (the same gift pack that I was sent) a Fiber One 90-Calorie Brownies gift pack that includes a box each of the Chocolate Fudge and the Chocolate Peanut Butter brownies, as well as a Fiber One 90-Calorie Brownie themed duffel bag, jump rope, water bottle, snack case, headband and bracelet.

The Disney Channel will be premiering a Disney Channel Original Movie, “Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension” on Friday, August 5th. In conjunction with the movie, the “Perry the Platy-bus on Tour” will be heading out on a coast-to-coast journey. My kids fell in love with Phineas and Ferb last summer and its still a favorite! I also have to admit that I am such a “kids music” snob but I LOVE the P&F soundtrack! Really I sing along and everything (the only two other ones I can tolerate are Laurie Berkner and They Might Be Giants kids music). We were lucky enough to have some great P&F merchandise sent our way as a thank you for helping to spread the word. We were even sent a preview of the movie but unfortunately our old dvd players won’t play the demo disc, so we have to wait just like everybody else!
Phineas and Ferb Across the 2nd Dimension Summer Activities
- Watch for the movies debut on August 5th at 8 pm ET/PT on the Disney Channel and on August 13 at 10 am ET/PT on Disney XD
- Virtual Viewing Party for the movie on August 5th at 8 pm EST and 8 pm PST. (2 parties for each coast)
- Perry the Platy-bus tour began on July 11 in New York City and will go across the country with stops at San Diego’s Comic Con International (July 21-24) and the Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim (August 19-21). You can follow the tour schedule and see if it’s coming to a city near you. Free admission!
- Take Two With Phineas and Ferb hits the Disney Channel and Disney XD this month. This is a series of two minute interviews with Phineas and Ferb and celebrities such as David Beckham, Howie Mandel, Miss Piggy and Shaun White.

*I found some neat P&F downloads on the Disney Channel website, even a t-shirt transfer!
*Team Mom sent me Phineas and Ferb merchandise and the information I shared with you about P&F happenings this summer!
Backyard Safari Outfitters sent us some great toys to review last year and again this summer. I like to think our kids will have plenty of great outdoor memories and I’m glad they love a line of toys that promote being outside exploring! The Base Camp Shelter used with the Camouflage Netting is their favorite and it has not been put away since we opened it. We actually use the toys indoors just as much as out though (for lots of camping in the jungle that is our living room)! I like that the shelter is open yet still has a lot of fun “real tent” features like the handy rings to hang your lantern and four cargo pockets to store your toys. The kids love the netting over it and would love it on its own for blanket forts. Ben latched onto the walking stick with a wolf head at the top and he likes the hand grip feature. The three older kids took turns with it on a few hikes with John. We also got the 3-IN-1 Compass Tool which Ben took a special interest in and wants to claim as his own also. Our four kids range from 2 1/2-8 1/2 and they all can enjoy these toys, that and the fact that they are great for girls and boys make Backyard Safari Outfitters a hit here!
Something has changed with me and the blog, I just never feel the pull to get on and write anything. I have a bunch of reviews to write and they wouldn’t take long but so much else is going on and I don’t sit down and just do it. I used to blog for fun, like how watching a tv show is a break from things I need to do but now the blog is just one of those need to do things that I have on my list. I think my Iphone is to blame! I can check email and facebook and play online scrabble and really that is enough for me! We are currently planning the move of our girls to the second floor and their little tiny room next to ours will become an office/craft room/homework zone. I think maybe with the computer on the main floor that I may get back into the swing of things. We’ll see. So much is going on around here lately. I thought as the kids got a little bigger that I would be able to have more time for myself but really that was wrong because now nobody naps and the amount of activities has grown. So far this summer isn’t the lazy time I was hoping for but now that the boys’ week of camp is over and two weekends of birthday parties in a row are done (the middle two kids each had a big pool party here) maybe that can change. If not at least we will have a nice long week of camping in Maine next month! So blog I still love the idea of you but I’d rather neglect you than the four kids or the messy house (for now anyway)!
*Oh and the constant sound of the MAC trying to eject the thin coaster some child stuck in the disc drive is another reason the computer is not so appealing lately!!!
So here is a post pinata picture because I hate to post without a picture!
