Baby loves… onions?

All of our kids start out as good eaters, not picky at all BUT I was shocked when I discovered that Jamie loves onions! It all started at Applebees one night when I was eating my salad and I pushed all my red onions to one end of the plate (since I don’t eat them). When Jamie went after them I didn’t stop her, I just figured she would put the long slices in her mouth and then drop them after she tasted them. Well she ate all of them. I was a bit worried she would choke or get an upset stomach but she did just fine with them. That was when she was about 10 months old. She will be a year tomorrow and is still loving her onions, in this particular photo from Friendly’s she had onions, broccoli and saltines for lunch. Writing that doesn’t make me feel like the best mom but at least she is eating off of her hygienic disposable place mat instead of the germy table.
