All summer I have been planning on taking down the wallpaper off the top half of our dining room (bottom half had to come off a few years ago due to some toddlers pealing it). I finally started Tuesday morning on a whim and thought the boys would have fun “helping”. I didn’t think they’d actually be really helpful but they were!

Here are my tips for easily removing wallpaper:

• get chairs for your kids to stand on
• hang plastic bags on them to put the paper in
• start at the seams and rip off the surface of the paper in as big of pieces as you can
• use water in a spray bottle to wet the underpart of the paper
• use a plastic dry wall spatula to gently scrap it off (if it doesn’t peal off effortlessly you need to wet it some more)

IT”S SO EASY 2 PRESCHOOLERS AND A BABY CAN DO IT!

Now I need to go pick some paint colors and get painting (may procrastinate on this too). ***No I went out and got the paint last night so I’ll give myself until next weekend to get it done.
