Here is the silliest thing we did this week (well silliest thing I did, the kids are way more silly). Last night I didn’t want to make dinner, it was hot out and there was no way I wanted to cook. We went in the very chilly 74 degree pool when John got home from work and he suggested having a campfire after. We decided to just eat smores for dinner. Then I had the bright idea that maybe we should try making grilled cheese over the fire first. It was something different and fun but next time I’d opt for hotdogs. The kids weren’t so sure about the grilled cheese on a stick so they ate a ton of marshmallows for dinner! I love a perfectly toasted marshmallow (never understand how some people let them catch on fire on purpose). We just had a great night and I hope our kids appreciate us being fun parents.

Oh Ben was silly too, there was a fly buzzing around him and he said in his super deep 3 yr old voice “I eat bugs… thats how I kill them”(you probably need to know him to picture how cute it sounded, his voice is so deep and husky). Ethan didn’t say anything funny at the campfire but earlier in the week he told a detailed story about when he was in my stomach he took my bones and juggled with them and then put them back in the wrong places (Ben then told his own story about being in John’s belly before he was born).
