Win a Video iPod Nano

I’m a sucker for blogs with cool contests. I’ve decided to setup a separate category for these contests so I can share them with you (and get myself entered of course). Today’s contest comes from It’s Write Now and their 8 GB Red Video iPod Nano contest. The contest runs until October 31st and the winner will be announced on November 5th.
I received a 30 GB iPod Photo 2 years ago and have been hooked ever since. Initially I loaded it with ALL my music, but later realized I only listen to a small percentage of my collection. So I’ve been cleaning up my music and creating playlists. I only use about 5 gigs for music now, but I use another 10 for my backlog of podcasts. For Christmas last year I bought Heather an iPod Nano. I have to say I was real impressed with the size (small!) and how sturdy it is. Arstechnica ran a great review where they did some extreme testing on the Nano (as in…run over it with a car) and the results were impressive. When I saw these new iPods announced I really started to drool. There are several video podcasts I listen to, but would love to watch so when I saw this contest I jumped on board.
This was the first time I had visited It’s Write Now and I’m an instant fan. We’ve been working on getting more visitors to our blog and the one aspect I haven’t worked on is my writing skills. It has been a long time since I’ve taken a writing class and while I consider myself a pretty good writer I know I have a lot of work to do.
Check out their site and join the contest yourself. If you win check out my list of favorite podcasts.

Hi John. I’m glad you visited my site, and thanks for the kind words. The new Nano is 8 gigs, which helps a lot. I only have a playlist with 52 songs on mine. Everything else is podcasts. And now with the video I can watch “Ask A Ninja”, or whatever else comes along. Your entered in the contest. Thanks, Emma
Wow, ran over the iPod Nano with a car? (My iPod tanked when I dropped it on the asphalt) For some heavy-duty product testing, check out what they do with an iPhone at willitblend.com .
