Apple Tree Arm Painting

It’s always fun to have kids make the cheesy hand print seasonal projects and I had seen this in my internet searching. You paint your child’s arm brown from elbow to wrist and then paint their hand green. Then tell them to spread their fingers and lay their arm on their paper to print a tree. My boys each chose to make 3 trees on their papers. Once the trees were done we washed their arms and during that time the trees dried enough to be ready for the apples. To make the apples I gave them some red paint and had them use their fingers as apple stamps. Ben was done at that point but Ethan got out some brushes and painted grass and blue sky and then added a giant apple. It was pretty fun since they got to get messy but next time I’ll do what my friend did and paint the hand brown too as the branches and do finger painting for the leaves.

That’s really cute! I’m definitely doing that with my boys. They love anything messy and anything involving paint, so I know it will be a hit!
