Ghost Halloween Curtain

3

I got this idea years ago from something I saw on a Martha Stewart show. I originally made a paper version but it was so cute I had to make one that would last. I bought some black Halloween fabric the size of my window (its all black but has a Halloween print), some plain white fabric and some fusible webbing tape. This was a no sew project, I just cut out the ghosts from the white material and then cut the black material to match the ghost shapes BUT smaller so that I had room to use the iron on tape to attach the two with no gaps. Well now that I think about it, I cut the ghosts out of the black material first and then used that as a pattern to make ghosts that were about an inch bigger around (its been 4-5 years since I made this). I made 4 eyes for each ghost so that you can see them both inside and out during the day (make sure they line up or else your ghost will look 4 eyed). The first year I made this I stapled it to the window trim but then I got curtain rod hooks with clips so its so easy to put up and I can slide it open during the day if I want to. It looks great from outside at night!

That is SO cute! I love that it is no-sew, too. Hope to try it.
