Jamie won this very cute Skipping Hippos poncho from a blog contest on Metropolitan Mama. I was so excited to win this because we loved her pink poncho that she had outgrown and I never could find another in stores (it was a different brand which was cute but not nearly as cute as her new one). I would not have picked red as my first choice (or second or even third… okay maybe it would be my last) but its nice to be forced into something different and I hadn’t thought about the “little red riding hood” bonus! I have to admit now that she has been wearing it all week I am loving the red. She catches people’s attention and gets a lot of compliments on it. She seems to really like wearing it as well and moves her arms excitedly when I put it on her. Who wouldn’t love all those little pom-poms! Ponchos are so much easier for me to put on her when I’m going places with the 3 kids. Jamie will be wearing hers any day its not freezing until summer! I wish the boys had something as easy to throw on!
