Our Future Birds!
I have made my final selection of what chickens I want to order (although I won’t order them until March so technically I could change my mind). I heard back from Meyer Hatchery the same day I emailed them and they said that I can order ANY combination of chicks that I want! The minimum order they will sell is only 3 chickens. I am happy to pay the extra $15 fee for the shipping of small orders so that they can put in a warmer and get the chicks to you safely (large shipments of chicks don’t require a heat source because of their body heat). I am so impressed with Meyer so far and I am definitely going to order my chicks from them. Anyway, here is what I plan to order:
3 Ameraucana (lays the blue & green eggs so that is why I want extra of these, all my other chickens will lay brown eggs)
1 Silver Laced Wyandotte
1 Golden Laced Wyandotte
1 Golden Buff
