So creative :) We made deviled eggs soaked in beet juice this year for a different twist on them and the juice permeates the egg and colors the insides a beautiful pink/purple color. I was going to try natural dyes too (pre-sickness), but I wouldn't have thought of onion skins, although now I vaguely recall having read about this somewhere.
