WIN some Squishy Bowls!

Squishy bowls and cups were designed as awesome camping/hiking products because you can just shove them into your pack and they bounce right into shape when you need them. I think they will soon be seen as a great product for kids as well. What kid wouldn’t want to use a “squishy bowl”? Just the name is fun but holding these flexible silicone bowls and cups is too. Parents will love them because they don’t break, are dishwasher and microwave safe and silicone is a great alternative to plastic!
We were sent a bowl and cup set to review and we all like them a lot so far. I haven’t given the kids the “cup” to drink out of but instead use it as a snack bowl, its PERFECT for giving a child an individual snack in. Its even just the right size for our 2 year old to hold and because its squishy she can grip it easily with one hand. These cups are great to keep in the car for snacks (I like to keep a bag of Goldfish or pretzels in the car and then pour out some for each kid when we’re having a snack emergency). The bowl is nice for when I give the kids a snack to share between them at home or for when they have something like popcorn or an actual meal and need something that will hold more.
We are trying to reduce the amount of plastic that our kids eat and drink out of but its hard when they are young and prone to breaking glass and ceramics, so silicone is a nice option. Unlike with kids plastic bowls you can safely heat up food in the microwave in the squishy bowls. Those hard plastic kid plates and bowls that claim to be top rack dishwasher safe just break after repeated washings and my kids have dropped them and they crack but squishy bowls are pretty indestructible. So if you have a toddler that flings his plate out of the highchair this would be great for you!
Squishy Bowls are made by Guyot designs, a great company who make some other nice outdoor products. When we go camping next I will be sure to bring our squishy bowls but they are camping gear that can really be every day gear when you have kids.
Look at the Squishy Bowl being squished and it makes a great Mac&Cheese bowl too!

Yes, the tongue has to stick out in 90% of all Ethan pictures lately, I must find a new model! Here he is with the Squishy Cup eating cookie dough in our bed (hey, he had just gotten home from his first day of Kindergarten so he needed something yummy)!
These look like great fun for the kids and great for the diaper bag. They have some other interesting things on their site as well. I think the lime ones are my fav.
I love that Ethan is eating cookie dough in the last pictures. Sometimes a good dose of cookie dough is much needed! lol!
Ooh, these look so fun! I love avoiding plastic too. The lime is my favorite. As for another item I like on their site, the firefly is brilliant. My husband would love it.

Those are great! I love how they’re cupped at the top to prevent spills. I could also see these being used beyond the kid years. The lime is my favorite color, but I do like the tomato too!

I’m trying to avoid eating and drinking from plastic containers, so I’m happy to hear about these products.
Blue is my favorite color for just about everything, including these nifty bowls.
I like the stainless steel bottles and the Griptions to give them a handle and to lock them closed (or open). I have had some disasters with cup tops that didn’t stay closed.

I also like the Microbites; this is an odd thing so sssshh… the spork. If I get Mr. Man the spork, maybe he will stop trying to bribe all the cashiers at Taco Bell into selling him sporks. Sad but true.

This would be perfect for my 8 month old granddaughter! Her mom loves red so “tomato” would be her favorite color. I think the firefly is a great idea - would love to keep one in the car and take on trips. What creative ideas!
