Nice. Looks like he’s ready to play!
After so many hockey practices it is so nice to take photos of the kids outdoors AND be able to see their faces.
This was a pretty good game, but shortly after this photo Ethan got his clock cleaned by a BIG kid on the other team. It was a clean block, but Ethan didn’t see it coming and ate a little dirt.
As a parent, football, even flag football, can be tough to watch, but the boys sure love playing it. Ben just goes out there and smiles while everyone runs circles around him, but Ethan really gets going and loves going after the flags.
At their first game, Ethan was lined up against a HUGE kid who wasn’t giving up an inch. I was worried he’d be discouraged, but he kept smiling. I asked them how it went afterwards and this was the story:
“He asked me how old I was, I told him 5, but I would be 6 in October. He said his birthday was in October too. I told him I was having a Star Wars party. He’s having a transformers party…”
I couldn’t keep a straight face. Apparently it was social hour on the 50 yard line.
LOL….how neat that they can get to know each other even in a competetive situation.

Perfect title for this shot. Nice work!
