Lefty
Its been offical for a little while now that we have our first left handed child! My mom and dad and John’s aunt are lefties but I think that is all until Jamie.
Not only does she paint left-handed but she uses 3 brushes at once.
I thought I’d give her the chance to have “clean” colors so I gave her yellow, blue and red paint with matching brushes for each. She happily put the right color brush in each paint but they quickly got mixed up and she got to mixing some nice muddy colors.
Look how happy she was!

John’s aunt is glad to hear that there is a new left-hander in the family. She wants to teach her how to knit in a few years.
Did you see the new President signing Executive Orders? It looks like he is left handed too.
I have a left handed child too and when she was in preschool, learned something interesting. Her preschool teacher said that you don’t need a special left handed scissors as long as the regular scissors is sharp! We found this to be true! Also, when they are learning to write, don’t push them into it before they are ready. If you do he/she will start writing with their hand in a hook position. It also helps to have them learn standing up writing at a white board.
