MilkBank great for pumping moms! WIN ONE!
I have a lot of breastmilk in the freezer right now that I don’t feel is stored very well. I wish that the Parent Bloggers Network had asked me to review this smart breastmilk storage system 2 months ago when I was basically pumping round the clock to get my milk supply back after a rough start feeding Jillian. I have milk in glass bottles, plastic containers and breastmilk bags but if only it was all vacuum sealed in these MilkBank bottles so that it would last longer. I am with 3 1/2 month old Jillian at all times so I don’t really need bottles much at this point but saving milk is still important to me. You never know if I’ll need to leave her for a few hours but mainly I love to have a supply of frozen milk to mix with solids when she starts them. Saving milk for mixing with food means it needs to last a long time since my kids all start solids at 6-7 months. With the MilkBank system milk can be stored even longer than that because air is removed from the bottles to hold off spoiling and freezer burn. You put the milk in the MilkBank bottles, simply place the vacuum top on, then a few pumps later and you’re bottle is ready to go into the fridge or freezer. Even if you aren’t planning to store milk for as many months as I am you still need to think about the flavor changing and nutrients being lost from being stored in the freezer in bottles or bags that contain air. If you are doing your best by feeding your baby breastmilk you want that milk to stay fresh! When you are ready to use the stored milk the storage bottles screw right into an insulated outer bottle so there is no need to transfer the milk. The MilkBank bottles have a special venting system that I’ve never seen before so that the bottles don’t leak and cause less gas. The bottles are made out of plastic that is free of BPA, phthalates and PVC. I would prefer if the bottles were glass but I still really like this system and would have loved to have had it sooner when I was packing the freezer with milk a few months ago!
You can buy MilkBank products online at BabysRUs and the MilkBank site has a store locator! BUT one lucky reader of mine can win a MilkBank system!

I would love to win the MilkBank system because I am pregnant with my second child and I need anything that will help me makes things easier with breastfeeding the second time around. I also have a 2 year old so anything to help is helpful. Thanks.
I would like to say “thank you” for someone finally coming out with products that promote safer breastfeeding. I would like to win one for my daughter. She is currently a bf mom. Thanks.
I just had to throw out a few bags of stored/frozen BM. I so wish I had something like this when we started breastfeeding – I wouldn’t have wasted so much of my frozen gold! I’d love to try this out!
I no longer breastfeed, but when I did, I almost always used the Medela bottles. I’m entering this because my SIL is due to deliver soon, and I think this sounds terrific!
i have a friend who could use this – i’d love to give it to her
I am entering because I pump and store only what I need for that given day. I have always been leary of many breast milk storage containers and freezing. This actually sounds like it safely stores the milk and would allow me to pump & store for more than 1 day at a time!
This looks great! My little one will likely be enjoying the milk within 24 hours after I’ve pumped, as I can’t usually pump too much more than needed. But, when I CAN, it usually needs to be saved for a while so this would be super useful for me!
I would love to win this because I’m about to be a new mom, and will be going back to work full time after a couple of months. This seems like a great tool for making pumping successful! Thanks for the chance.
I would love to win this for my expecting sister.
I had so much milk with my son when I was pumping, but a lot of it got freezer burnt! I would love this for my next baby! I love knowing there’s a freezer full of milk!
Thanks!

I would love to own this milk storage system!! I am expecting my first baby in a few short months and would like her to have fresh, nutrient-rich breastmilk to drink after I’ve pumped. Thank you for the opportunity!
I’d love this for myself – I’m nursing my 4 month old baby now and have been concerned about the loss of nutrients when storing milk. I’d never heard of this before so thank you for the review!
I am currently breastfeeding my 11 month old and am 3 months pregnant with the next one. Like you, I usually have my baby with me, so I don’t use my stored milk very often. It’s very important for me to have a stockpile in the freezer, though, just in case. Currently I’m using Lansinoh freezer bags. I would love a product that can store for longer and be safer. MilkBank sounds fabulous!
I could use this because I am going to be a pumping mom when my LO is born!
I’ve been pumping for my kids since my first was born — for a year each (despite being pregnant with the next ones!). I’m currently half way to my goal of pumping for my infant, but I plan on having more kids and pumping even more.
As she’ll be starting solids soon, I plan to be pumping extra and putting in the freezer and this would be great
(It happens to be I’m a lactation peer counselor and if I try this out, I will definitely be spreading the word!)
My oldest daughter would be thrilled to own this. After her last baby she went back to work full time and pumped for a year. She is now pregnant again and going to do the same thing.
Oh, I would love this! I’m due this summer with my first baby and I want to give my baby the best. I’ll be going back to work relatively fast though so having good storage for my milk is so important!
I would love to try this when I start pumping more for my newborn. I was never able to store milk longer than a week when I was nursing my first child. This sounds like a great system!
I would love to have this! Unfortunately my milk supply has been on the low side, so it would be nice to know I was saving every single drop, instead of losing some in the transition from pump to bag to bottle like I am now. This looks great!
A friend of mine is one of the rare few who truly has supply issues. I was amazed at how hard she worked to nurse her daughter, but she had a physical issue that just made it impossible. She’s been giving her little girl milk from other moms who have donated, but they all live out of state and her husband has to travel to pick up the milk. My baby’s due very soon and I always have an over-supply, so I’d love to pump and store some milk for her (I’m local). I really want to win this to make that easier.
I am expecting a new addition to the family in October. I have a 10 year old son, and 8 and 5 year old stepdaughters. I know all three kids are going to want to help feed the baby, and I know there will be times when I’m away from the baby and, well, Daddy’s nipples don’t produce milk… so milk storage will definitely be necessary. I think the MilkBank would be PERFECT for my needs.
It still makes me sad to think of all the delicious, nutritious breastmilk I threw away when my son was an infant… He would not feed from the breast, so I pumped for the first several months of his life. I was attached to that pump 4+ hours a day, and ended up having to throw away so much milk because I didn’t have a proper storage system.
Heart broken after refusal to take frozen milk…hoping this will help the problem! I’m feeling like anything stored over a day or two is a waste!
It would be a blessing to win this storage system. Hubby and I are expecting our first in May. I’ll have to look for a job after he’s 2 months, and I will be starting school again when he is 4 months. Being able to store precious milk without the worry of it spoiling is great. We’re a frugal young family, hubby is a Youth Pastor and a full time Graduate student as well. We can’t afford to be throwing bags of freezer burnt milk away, and we want the best for our son.
With my DD I pumped alot and even donated for a few months. I was always worried about how it was packaged. My cousin is due with her second baby this fall, I would love to suprise her with this, the benefits of breastmilk are so important to keep safe. Thanks
I would love to win one because I am due 4/27 and plan on breastfeeding. I loved breastfeeding my first daughter and I can’t wait to do it again! The nutritional value of breastmilk is amazing!
My husband’s oldest daughter just gave birth to a beautiful angelic girl a few months ago and so loves nursing her sweet’um. Like me she knows nursing is magical and that MAMA’S MILK is the way to go! : ))) In a few weeks she will be returning back to work and this storage system would be such a gem of a jewel of a gift to give her! I definitely know that she will be nursing for as long as she can. You have to love us MILKY MAMAS! : )))
Thanks so much for this fabulous give~away! : )))

I want this because I have the PERFECT mom to give this to! I wish this were around when I was pumping for my first two kids!
My 10-week-old has refused to nurse even after multiple lactation appointments, so I’m now hooked to my pump multiple times a day (and night) and am freezing as much as possible so that I can have enough for her to make it to 1 year but so that I can stop pumping sooner than that. I would absolutely love this system so that I would know that the milk is being stored correctly because it would crush me to have gone through all this and then to have to throw so much away. Thanks for the great giveaway!
I would love to win this….it might net me an extra hour of sleep…ha! Thanks for the chance to win.
I nursed my son for 14 months and would love this for baby number 2 when that time comes. I pumped at work for 8 months for him!
Glad you enjoyed the storage system:) Thanks so much for the thoughtful review! We appreciate you taking the time and all of your efforts.
