Baseball
The boys had their first baseball game last night. We got some great pictures and the kids had a lot of fun. They are really loving baseball this year now that they know so many of the other kids from school and other sports. What really amazes me is how much these kids improve from practice to practice. We got a great coach this year and between the times of little kid silliness we see flashes of great baseball. Nothing beats the beaming smile on a kid’s face when he gets a big hit or closes his eyes and still manages to catch the ball.

My son is starting flag football – I know I should be proud – but I see what the schedual does to my brother in law – I don’t have that much energy..
The schedule is rough, but you have to look at it this way. It’s a chance to spend time your kids. It’s a real blast watching them play and also a chance to mingle with the other parents. The other thing I like to do is bring the camera. Sports is a great opportunity to hone your photography skills and get some amazing candid shots of the kids.
Missing those days of TBall, BBall and Soccer. Milliejupiter used to yank on the other kid’s shirts instead of watching the soccer ball.
dhulser always wowed us with his madskilz. Have fun!
I love it. The kids are hysterical at this age as they get bored in the field. My goal is to get the perfect baseball card photo of one of them hitting the ball, but I also plan to get tons of pics of them goofing around in the outfield.
The photos are so cute! My son loves to play soccer, but I am beginning to suspect it is the social aspects of the game he loves rather than the sport. He wants to get to practice and leave late so he can play with the other boys. Practice itself? Not so keen.
