Jillian is our 4th and last baby so we really don’t buy her many toys. She has a lot from her siblings and its hard to justify owning more “baby things” BUT I was really excited when we received two wonderful Fisher Price toys for Jillian to review from Fisher Price and Mom Select. Boy, have baby toys improved over the last few years and I think poor Jillian was missing out! I just wish they had made the Laugh and Learn Farm when the other kids were babies, its so much fun and Jillian is at the perfect age for it! She can pull herself up to standing with it and she loves to crawl through the door and play with all of the fun activities! Her big brothers and sister like to show her what to do and have been playing with her really nicely with it. They help her with push the buttons to make music/songs and show her how to match up the 3 vegetable shape toys and the biggest hit of all is the 3 toy chicken eggs that go with it! Of course the big kids also like to crawl through with Jillian following. There really is a lot packed into both sides of this toy and it has made a great addition to our family room! This would be such a nice baby shower gift.

The other great toy that Jillian received is the Stride to Ride Lion and its also a huge hit! Jillian can hold the handle when its in “walker mode” and she’ll take usually about 3 steps with it! She can pull herself up to stand with it and take the steps all on her own and its fun to watch her get excited at her achievement! She is also able to sit on the lion when its in the “ride” position and can get off herself without falling (but I need to put her on still). She loves the music the lion makes when you press his nose and its not too loud or annoying to parents like a lot of toys! The lion has some soft mane pieces to play with while sitting on him and I think its a great touch. It is very easy to change the lion from walker to ride on, even my boys can do it. I think this is a perfect toy for Jillian right now as she progresses towards walking and it will still get lots of use as a ride on toy once she no longer needs to use it as a walker. Another great baby shower idea!
